While I was shopping books at Colombo International Book Fair, found an intriguing book called “Tell me what?” that is published by Octopus Publishing, India. This book contains hundred of surprising questions and fascinating answers about Science and Technology, Outer Space, and lot more. Almost all answers are well illustrated with color photographs and yes, it is unputdownable. Here is one of the good questions in the book. Can I call it as million-dollar question? Please note that it is a quote from the question.

What is the UNLUCKY about the number 13?
It is a superstition. Strange thing is that there is no single, accepted explanation for the origin of the superstition about 13. Some experts say 13 was unpopular from the time when man learned to count. By using his ten fingers and two feet as units, he came up with the number 12. but beyond that -13 – was unknown and frightening.
